Links This page contains links to some of my favorite sites on the web about movies. I visit almost all of them on a regular basis for anything from news about upcoming movies to facts about past releases. If you have a particular movie site you think I should link to or if you have your own movie related website and would me to post a link to it here, just contact me and I will be happy to pop the link on here. The Crimson White - The student run newspaper of the University of Alabama voted one of the nations top university papers. In addition to publishing my reviews, the Crimson White also features my colleague Graham Flanagan as well as complete coverage of the greatest football dynasty in the nation, The Crimson Tide. Movies.com - This is a nice little all-purpose site that covers all the major news about upcoming movies including green-light announcements (that's when a new project gets the OK from a studio to start filming) and nice feature called the Buzz List that runs down all the big Hollywood buzz going down each week. IMDb - The Internet Movie Database. This is the most comprehensive and complete resource I've found yet on the internet about movies, with every piece of information imaginable about every actor, director or caterer that ever worked in Hollywood. For film buffs, this site is indispensable. Roger Ebert - Film critic for the Chicago Sun-Times and my greatest influence as a critic. Roger Ebert is probably the most respected and popular film critic in America and I read his columns religiously. Ain't It Cool News - This is the underground movie site featuring everything from early reviews of films that won't be out for weeks as well as up-to-the-second news and rumors out of Hollywood about all the latest pet projects out of the studios. Be warned though - this site is both run by and intended for only the most extremely nerdy. Guess that's why I go there so often...(sigh). Box Office Mojo - For those who are into the commercial aspect of movies, which all true fans should be, this site provides the most accurate box office estimates on the web. The numbers can be a little confusing to those who aren't familiar with the system so if the stock market reports confuse you, this site may not be for you.
